Mentors vet. Coordinators carry.
Two clinical leads decide which mentors are good enough to offer, and four coordinators do everything after that. Meet the six people behind every pairing.
Two leads, four coordinators.
Dr. Rebecca L., DNP, PMHNP-BC
Vets every nurse practitioner preceptor before a student hears a name: license, specialty, population and caseload, against the program's handbook.
Dr. Daniel F., PhD, LPC
Counseling, social work and psychology pairings. Checks supervision against the program and the licensing board, and decides on telehealth in writing.
Hannah C., MSN, RN
Keeps the roster by state, license and specialty, and knows which programs each mentor has precepted for before. The first person you talk to.
Tyler M.
Affiliation agreements, preceptor packets and credentials, in the school's own template, followed to signature.
Grace E.
Background checks, immunizations, titers and certifications against the site's own list, each dated past the last day of the term.
Henry O.
Writes the weekly note to every mentee and institution: hours logged, evaluations due, and what happens next.
Four checks, in writing.
We vet each mentor on four points from your handbook: their license and the state it's in; how many patients or clients they see in your population; whether your syllabus accepts their setting; and whether their supervision meets both your program's rule and your board's. A mentor who falls short on one isn't offered, and the result goes in your file.
After that, the coordinators take over. Tyler sends the agreement to your school on its own form, Grace collects your clearances and checks they last past your final day, and Henry writes to you every week about hours and evaluations until you're done.
